MR NITIN GAJANAN TAKANE
CHAIRMAN

Now heads the Rugna Seva Mandal to carry forward his late father's vision. He not only introduced quality steel plates for students to eat in, but also ensured that the quality of education imparted is improving manifold. He keeps travelling to the school regularly to personally attend to the issues of the school. He has also installed a few inverters since the village receives scarce power supply that in turn affected the functioning of the school. He also encourages girls in the village to pursue higher education before settling in life. He believes that technology plays an important role in today's time and hence encourages not only teachers, but students and the school staff to gain IT knowledge. He has completed his graduation and certification in business management, and is currently, leading his business venture along with heading the trust. Since he was a child, he has played an active role in assisting his father. A disciplined man by nature, he now takes his father's legacy forward.

MRS KAVITA NITIN TAKANE
TREASURER

Is a mother of two and an art teacher by profession, currently teaching at St Anne's High School Fort, Mumbai. Her story is worth a read, since she pursued professional education being a mother of two, after 10 years of marriage. While she takes keen interest in making the best of the finances of the trust, she also introduced art as a subject to be taught in the school. She, along with her husband, regularly visits the school, and supervises its progress closely. Apart from being a kind hearted person, she is known for her generosity that is visible through her contribution towards the development of the less privileged.

SECRETARY

Comes from the village of Varzadi, a neighbouring village of Methi. A resident of Mumbai, and a CA by profession, he has played an important role in developing the trust by supporting the founder and the team ever since its inception. Apart from contributing towards the welfare of the trust, he has also educated his siblings, and helped them secure a job.
